Artist Tanner Lamphere, grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota surrounded by the beauty and splendor which are an inspiration for his artistic expression. "I grew up in a very creative family and was encouraged to explore, express  through painting, drawing  and sculpting. The sculpting was never my strong suit but I sure loved to draw and paint." The love of nature and conveying that joy into paintings that are bold and colorful.

 Tanner attended the Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design in Denver CO and Scottsdale Artist School in Arizona. He is currently working on a large mural for Security First Bank in Rapid City South Dakota.
